The City of Weyburn has approximately 85 permanent full-time and 30 part-time positions.  This number increases significantly with summer seasonal staff.  This includes approximately 29 out-of-scope staff (managers), 26 paid-on-call fire fighters (The Weyburn Fire Brigade) and staff represented by three trade unions:

• Canadian Union of Public Employees - CUPE Local 90 (74 staff);
• Weyburn City Policeman's Association - (16 staff);
• Weyburn Professional Fire Fighters Association - IAFF Local 2989 (4 staff);
