The City of Weyburn has approximately 85 permanent full-time and 30 part-time positions. This number increases significantly with summer seasonal staff. This includes approximately 29 out-of-scope staff (managers), 26 paid-on-call fire fighters (The Weyburn Fire Brigade) and staff represented by three trade unions:

All resumes received by the City are filed with the Finance Department, kept on file for six months, and referred to when opportunities become available.
